ENEE - European Railway Location Database

ENEE is the European Railway Location Database drawing on the FGE (General file of locations) and existing documents (DIUM, LIF stations, etc..) to be used as a benchmark for existing or future applications in the passenger, freight and infrastructure sectors at international level.

There is an option between two procedures to update ENEE:

  • Data on locations is entered and updated directly into the ENEE database by using the admin Internet-based interface by a person responsible for each railway. Specific right to use the admin interface can be requested to Fabrice SETTA (enee@uic.org)
  • Data is updated in national systems first then the data to be exported to the ENEE database is supplied by an automatic system using XML messages. Contact to Fabrice SETTA (enee@uic.org) for more information
